There's no better way to say "welcome to Hawaii" than with a fresh lei. Whether your family is flying in for a Disney Aulani vacation, you're surprising a honeymooning couple at the Four Seasons, or you're celebrating a birthday at a Ko Olina rental, a lei greeting turns an ordinary arrival into a memory.
At Aloha Palms Hospitality, every lei is freshly made by local lei makers and hand-delivered, with complimentary white-glove delivery anywhere in Ko Olina. Here's how to plan the perfect greeting.
Which lei should I choose?
Purple Orchid Lei. The classic Hawaiian welcome. Fresh Dendrobium orchids are vibrant, hold up well for long wear and photograph beautifully. A great choice for airport-style arrivals and big groups. From $28. See Purple Orchid Leis.

Multicolor Orchid Lei. A fuller lei that blends two or three orchid colors, depending on what's in season. Lovely for honeymoons, anniversaries and birthdays. From $35. See Multicolor Orchid Leis.
Plumeria Lei. Soft petals and that unmistakable island fragrance. Plumeria leis are harvested and strung the same day they're delivered. From $35. If the person you're greeting is sensitive to scents, choose an orchid or ti leaf lei instead. See Plumeria Leis.
Ti Leaf Lei. One of Hawaii's most meaningful lei traditions. Ti leaves symbolize protection, blessings and good fortune, and they're long-lasting and fragrance-free. A thoughtful choice for men, graduations, retreats and anyone who prefers a simple green lei. From $20. See Ti Leaf Leis.

Flower Crown (Haku Lei). A handcrafted floral crown worn on the head, made to order in your choice of colors. Perfect for birthdays, vow renewals and family photo sessions on the beach. From $85 for keiki and $100 for adults. See Flower Crowns.
Fresh Flower Hair Clips. A small touch of aloha for dinners, luaus and photos. From $35. See Hair Clips.
How far ahead should I order?
Please order at least 48 hours ahead so we can source the freshest flowers. Need it sooner? Message us first. A rush order may be possible for a flat $15 per lei, depending on flower availability. Flowers are seasonal and weather-dependent, so if a specific bloom is unavailable we'll reach out with options.
What details do we need?
To make your greeting smooth, include these in the Special Notes at checkout:
- Where: hotel name, tower and room number, or your rental's address and access instructions.
- When: your flight arrival time and estimated arrival time at the resort, or your preferred delivery time.
- Who: identifying details for a meet-and-greet, such as clothing colors or the make, model and color of the car.
- Why: any occasion you'd like us to mention, like "Happy Birthday" or "Congratulations."
Make it a welcome package
Many guests pair leis with a charcuterie board waiting in the room, so the family can relax and snack right after a long flight. Kids love our Mickey-shaped board, and our personalized keepsake surfboards are a fun way to collect character signatures at Aulani. Read our guide to charcuterie board delivery in Ko Olina.
